Ramadan UX & Design Talks
This Ramadan was different for us because we decided to make it a time for learning and engagement, rather than just a quiet month!
We organized an online event consisting of three sessions spread across three different days, all held after Iftar at 9:30 PM.
The attendance was impressive, and the interaction exceeded expectations, with each session delivering valuable and practical content for anyone working in design and visual experience.
The details were as follows:
March 16 – Muhammad El-Sayed
Delivered a talk titled *"Object-Oriented UX"*, discussing how to approach UX as a system of interconnected elements and roles, not just isolated screens. The session was packed with real-world examples and applications.
March 19 – Amr Martin (Art Director / Art Visualizer)
Presented a talk titled *"Hiring Challenges for Graphic Designers"*, sparking an honest discussion about the gap between company expectations and designers’ actual skills, and how to prepare for the job market realistically.
March 21 – Osama El-Dreiny (UX Lead)
Gave a talk titled *"The Difference Between Alias Tokens and Component-Specific Tokens"*, explaining their technical and functional distinctions and how their use impacts the entire Design System.
These three days were a genuine opportunity for anyone looking to grow, learn from market experts, and take practical steps in their work.
